Hey everyone, I’m so excited to finally be able to share my thoughts on the new Resident Evil 9 trailer! Many of you asked if I had seen it, and after watching the first one a while back, I knew I had to check out the second. So, what better way to do it than enjoy it with all of you?
Honestly, this trailer was wild. It packed in so much more than the first one and I’m really impressed with how much information they gave us. I especially love that they’re bringing back characters like Alyssa Ashcroft from the Outbreak series, instead of relying on the same characters like Leon, Claire, and Jill. This is a great move by Capcom, and I’m excited to see where they take it.
The new character, Grace, also seems really interesting. She’s an ordinary person without a lot of experience with supernatural events, and I think that adds a lot to the story. It seems like a lot of bad things are going to happen to her and her mom, and I’m on the edge of my seat to find out what happens, even if it’s scaring me a little.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Resident Evil without Umbrella being up to no good. The hospital setting also gives me major Spencer Mansion vibes from the first game, which is super cool. Capcom always nails those nods to the older games.
